I collect knives and this once a year book is great to look at and has some interesting reading. I wish there were more pictures of Art knives and bowies. Has plenty of pictures of smaller knives. I have been getting this book for about 9 years. I feel it is a great way of keeping up to date on makers,styles and embellishments. I have not found another knife book that compares to this one at all!
This is a well written book with many great color photos.Most of the focus goes to custom builders. If your "Thang" is high/end custums this well be a great book. If you lean toward tactical, EDC, or real world survival knifes you'll only see a few looks at "production" models. Most of the custum knives may not faire will in hard use environments.
Been buying this annual for decades; it's a must -have!
A routine purchase, not as informative as "Knives '81 to '2000" but still keep on buying annually.
